Driving School
The Cree School Board’s Driving School Program gives students the opportunity to take driving lessons right in their communities.
Through agreements with certified driving schools, this program helps you learn safe driving habits, how to handle a car, and how to use the road responsibly and independently.
It promotes safe driving, encourages students to stay in school, and provides financial support to help cover the cost of driving lessons.
Eligibility
To be eligible, students must:
- Be registered in one of our Youth Sector schools.
- Be at least 16 years old at the start of the session, or turn 16 within three months.
Remain registered in the CSB Youth Sector throughout the session.
If a student graduates before the session ends, the CSB will continue to cover costs until the license is obtained.
How to Register
Visit your school’s Administrative Officer to request the registration form for the Driving School Program.
Cost
All costs are covered as long as the student is and remains registered in the CSB Youth Sector throughout the session.
If the student graduates before the session ends, the CSB will continue to cover costs until the license is obtained.
