Request for Proposals
We invite you to review our current Request for Proposals (RFP). All proposals must be in writing and be submitted to the Cree School Board by the indicated deadline. If you have any questions concerning a particular RFP, please contact the person listed as the resource person in the request.
iinuu metawewin (Cree Games)
The Cree School Board is extremely proud to be hosting the iinuu metawewin (Cree Games) in Mistissini during the week of March 24 to 28, 2025. We will be welcoming delegations from across Eeyou Istchee in this wonderful celebration of iiyiyiuiyihtiwin and iiyiyiuyimuwaawin.

Throughout the event, we will require specialized services
We will be posting the formal proposals starting in December. Needs and modalities mentioned below are general orientations being considered and may be subject to changes. Meanwhile, we would like to share some of the service proposals we will be requiring therefore potential providers can begin preparing.
Catering services
We will require catering for breakfasts, lunch, suppers and snacks for our guests. We would likely need between 500 and 700 meals a day as well as 700 to 1000 snacks. Adaptations may be required for delegates with allergies or food restrictions.
Bus Transportation
Busing will be required for initial and final pick ups at the Chibougamau airport. This would likely include transportation from nearby communities for their delegations.
Local Transportation Services
Local transportation of elders and some delegates will be needed, including adapted transportation.
Logistical Services
Services for the setting up of facilities (for meals, entertainment, clean-up, event support) will be required. This could include security services.
Cultural Knowledge Keepers
Throughout the event, we will need knowledge keepers to help set up cultural areas and activities. This will include the gathering of tent poles, boughs and walking paths, to name a few.
Artists and Entertainment
We will provide entertainment and have areas for the sale of Cree arts and crafts.
