To improve this, we’ve introduced a few initiatives such as the Cree language mentor programs in Pre-K and Kindergarten. Additionally, Cree will be offered as an optional language of instruction for Grade 1 students in some communities: Whapmagoostui, Chisasibi, Waskaganish, Waswanipi.
Please take a few minutes to fill out this short survey. Your thoughts and ideas about your child’s Cree language learning will help us plan.
