Regional Annie Whiskeychan Day

Annie Whiskeychan was an important champion of Cree education. We honour her contributions with a day of cultural games, activities, and competitions at the local level, and regionally.

On May 27th, 2022, students, parents, and community members gathered in Waswanipi to celebrate the 25th Regional Annie Whiskeychan Day.
