End of 2022-2023 School Year and Exam Updates

Due to the current situation in our community with the forest fires, the unstable power supply, and concerns for the well-being and safety of our students and employees, we have made the decision to end the school year for 2022-2023 in Mistissini.

We are saddened that we won't be able to celebrate the successes and achievements of our students together. However, when we resume in August, we will kick start the new school year with graduation ceremonies and welcoming everyone back.

The exams conducted by the Cree School Board have been canceled. For students in Secondary 4 and Secondary 5 who were scheduled to take Ministry exams, alternative dates will be provided soon. We will share more details about tutoring, exam schedules, and summer school.
To parents and guardians, we kindly request your cooperation in collecting your children's belongings at the school, and to students, we ask for the return of the laptops.

We remain dedicated to providing a safe learning environment for our students, and we look forward to their return in August. We hope you have a wonderful summer break and see you soon!
