The CSB Announces Return to School Plans
This article contains links to video-recordings from our Information Session and our Health & Safety guidebook.
As Cree School Board prepares to reopen schools, training centres, and buildings, it is vital that we keep the community informed. Our plan for reopening follows the best advice of our public health professionals, respects community and regional regulations, and supports the safety & success of our students.
We were pleased to present the details of this plan to the community during a Virtual Information Session on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Hundreds of Eeyouch tuned into to the live event either on TEAMs or through JBCCS radio, and many sent in their questions for our leadership to answer. We send our deepest thanks to Dr. Faisca Richer, Director of Public Health for CBHSSJB for joining our session and providing her valuable knowledge and expertise.
The video-recordings and slide decks from each presentation can be found on our COVID response information page.
The Cree School Board has also developed a Health & Safety Guidebook to help students and their families better understand our operating procedures and emergency plans. The guidebook covers Pre-school, Elementary, Secondary, and Adult Education. We recommend reviewing this guidebook before returning to school.
Thank you to all who are working so hard in support of our reopening. We look forward to a safe, successful, and enjoyable back to school season!
