Florrie Mark-Stewart was a respected Cree educator who devoted her life to preserving our language and culture within the classroom. Florrie, known for her love for students and collaboration with colleagues, expanded her influence beyond the classroom, becoming a beacon of knowledge who left a lasting impact on the Cree Nation.
The Cree School Board thanks Florrie for 20 years of dedicated service as a Cree Culture teacher. As we pay tribute to her legacy, our thoughts and prayers are with Florrie's family in the Cree Nation of Eastmain.
