"Our aim is to meet the needs of our students and our communities through capacity development."
This momentous financial pledge acknowledges the growing needs of our community.
An investment in Cree education is an investment in our people’s future.
“Our aim is to meet the needs of our students and our communities through capacity development. With our youth population increasing and the rapid expansion of our local and regional economies and services, we must move quickly to provide increased access to education and training opportunities for our people. The projects outlined in our capital plan, including the elementary and secondary schools in Chisasibi, our largest community, and the adult learning centres that are in development around our territory will ensure that the Cree School Board advances the capacity development goals of our Nation by responding directly to the needs of our communities and our youth.” – Dr. Sarah Pash, Cree School Board Chairperson
