This program has been customized by the Cree School Board to reflect our land, values, and traditional practices.

Learn how to:

  • Prepare and handle wildlife protection equipment
  • Identify and monitor plants and wildlife
  • Navigate the land and apply survival techniques
  • Conduct wilderness patrols and wildlife management investigations
  • Apply wildlife protection regulations

1320 hours (full-time, 53 weeks)

Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS)

Do you have the prerequisites?

  • Secondary IV language of instruction, second language and mathematics
    or
  • Secondary III language of instruction + passed General Development Test
