Bus Driving

Bus drivers are licensed to drive vehicles that can carry 24 or more passengers. If you like driving and helping people, bus driving could be a great career for you!

Learn how to:

  • Drive, brake, shift gears, and park a heavy vehicle that carries 24 or more passengers
  • Maneuver paved and unpaved roads in various weather conditions with a bus
  • Practice bus driving with an experienced instructor
  • Prepare for your SAAQ road test
Skills and Training Certificate (STC)
Class 2 Bus Driver's Licence
330 hours (full-time, 14-weeks)

Do you have the prerequisites?

  • Education:  Secondary III language of instruction, second language and mathematics or successful completion of the General Development Test
  • Driving experience: Hold a class 5 driver’s licence for at least 24 months with no more than 3 demerit points
  • Health: Pass an SAAQ vision test and medical examination
