A fully funded full-time three tier IT English program taken online in your community.

Commencing September 2026, ending January 2029.

Hands-on Training

Prepare for high demand careers in the tech industry.

Virtual and In-Person Learning

Online courses from your home in iiyiyiu aschii.
Laptops will be provided by the Cree School Board.

Internships

After each certification, students will participate in structured internships with established IT companies and organizations, gaining practical experience and industry connections.

Students will complete 3 tiers over a period of 28 months.
From September 21, 2026 to January 2029.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

IT professionalism, e-mail etiquette, intro to Google Classroom, uploading of documents, file storage & other foundations

A+, Hardware/Software Trouble Shooting and Help Desk Ticketing Systems
Internships (3 internships)
Server+ (CompTIA)
Windows Server Administration & Active Directory
Linux+ (CompTIA)
Network+ (CompTIA)
Programming and Scripting (Python, PowerShell, C#, JAVA)
Security+ (CompTIA)
CYSA+ (CompTIA)
Pentest+ (CompTIA)
Database Administration/CRUD
IT Business Incubator, Accounting, Proposal Writing and Procurement
IT Electives (IBM Skill Builder, Cisco NetAcademy, Microsoft University, AWS Academy, NCC/UNB Hicks program, Deloitte Advanced Cloud Program)

Prerequisites

Open to Cree beneficiaries living in iiyiyiu aschii communities.
High School Graduate with Sec. V CST Math
Must be over 18 years of age
OR
Mature Student (21+) and has been out of school for at least 2 years.
