Holiday Wellness Resources from Dr. Maria Gordon

While the holidays bring much happiness and excitement, it can also be a difficult time for some of us. SAES’ Wellness Services Counsellor, Dr. Maria Gordon, is here to support any adult education students who may be struggling during this time:

"There are many feelings people may have over the holiday season – some moments may be filled with laughter and joy, while others may be sad, lonely, or overwhelming. I encourage students to embrace their feelings and work through them, whatever they may be."

CSB’s Adult Learner Day celebrates the power of lifelong learning

Adult education students have a strong impact on the future of the Cree Nation. To celebrate lifelong learning and recognize student success in adult education, the Cree School Board declared a special Adult Learner Day on November 7. Each community hosted events on or near this date to recognize the commitment and journey of students.
